My name is Hansell Stedman, and I'm a Mechanical Engineering Student at the University of Pennsylvania School of Engineering and Applied Sciences.
I've been interested in building and designing for as long as I can remember. It brings me joy to see a design come together, whether on 3D CAD software or in real life. I've also recently taken an interest to computer science classes after I got my first exposure to writing code in the spring of 2015.
I've enjoyed sports and fitness since I was very young. I'm the Vice President of the University of Pennsylvania Ski and Snowboard Team, and I am also involved with the Club Gymnastics team. I was on the varsity Cross Country, Track and field, and Diving teams at William Penn Charter School. I also recreationally enjoy mountain biking, hiking, and spending as much time outdoors as possible.
My interests in fitness and athletics have led to my involvement in AerO2Max, a startup that has created a fitness wearable capable of measuring an athlete's breating rate, effort level, and other performance metrics. I hope to use my engineering abilities and skills to design and develop products that people will enjoy and appreciate significantly.
